It's always a good time to bring your attention to some great news!

Our very own Louise Towell presented Sarah Wong of Metropolis at Metrotown with a Dreamfish award for the continuous and positive efforts Metropolis at Metrotown has done for the community.

On behalf of Metropolis at Metrotown, Sarah graciously provided Stream of Dreams with a donation to celebrate Earth Day! How amazing is that?

A bit of a backstory: On November 19, 2014, Metropolis at Metrotown proudly presented a cheque for $189,240 to 41 different charities located throughout the Lower Mainland. Of the 41 charities, Stream of Dreams was one of them.

The donation was the result of a $100,000 Community Investment Program initiated in April to help valuable not-for-profit organizations continue their inspiring work in the local community.

Metropolis at Metrotown exemplifies leadership in community giving and demonstrates its commitment to the City of Burnaby, ensuring it remains a great place to live, work, and play.
